When in Rome recently, Jerrie did as a discerning Roman woman would do and managed to source a Fendi First bag, completely embroidered with pink metallic sequins and sold out in Italy.

A fitting debut was had with the glitterati at Chris Lucas' European-inspired Lillian Brasserie located in the opulent à la carte destination Society and overlooking the former Le Louvre boutique site of notable couture atelier proprietor Lillian Wightman.

Aperitifs were matchy-matchy and signature Lillian cocktails of strawberry eucalyptus, gin, rose, Saint Felix bitter citrus and lemon.

Entrée of a Dom Pérignon-fuelled three course prix fixe menu was beef carpaccio with horseradish, cashew nut and parmesan.

Main was a lightly grilled John Dory with carrot, honey, caraway & mint and wood-smoked greens with pine nut vinaigrette.

The show stopper was one of the most memorable tiramisu cheesecakes.
